Mr. Cartoon x Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid

While most of the Nike Sportswear Six artists/nations went with the Lunar Chukka Woven, the Yanks and Brits of this massive pack turned their hand to the Nike Lunar Rejuven8 Mid+.As a part of the World Cup “True Colors” Collection, Nike selected Mister Cartoon to design gear for the fans of the U.S. Soccer Team. This pair of Lunar Rejuven8 Mids is designed to match the Air Footscape Freemotion we saw some time ago.

Here’s Mister Cartoon’s edition  for the United States, an all black Torch-equipped upper riding a white sole, which splits the difference between Kronk’s black/grey Lunar Chukka Woven and the brighter-soled editions from France, Holland and Brazil.Black mesh and Torch combine to create the entire upper, while suede can be found on the Swoosh, midfoot and heel. A white Lunarlite sole sits underneath.

A breathable no-nonsense look that can handle any clothes you might want to pair them with, Mr. Cartoon’s Nike Lunar Rejuven8 is available from SneakersNStuff.The collaborating artist’s touches can be seen on the tongue, where Nike script is sewn in his handwriting. Select retailers are stocking these limited kicks, as well as their partner pair, now and more will be in the coming days so be on the lookout.

Nike Air Max 90 – Lakers Colorway

Earlier this year Nike dropped a black/green/white colorway of the Nike Air Max 90, taking on the alternate uniforms of the Boston Celtics.Taking inspiration from Lakers classic colorways of this new NIke air max 90 running shoes, which is come as White / Wicked Purple / Varsity Yellow colorway, using purple color at the tongue, mudguard and the heel tab.

While the white color get into use at the Nike swoosh, toe box, tongue tag, collar area, and midsole. Accents by bright yellow at inner lining, tongue tag of Nike branding, as well as the Air Max unit.This new colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 features a color-combo similar to the – you guessed it – the Los Angeles Lakers. Boston and L.A.

Air Jordan VI (6) Retro – White – Varsity Red

Nobody is protesting the release of the White/Varsity Red Air Jordan VI or the Infrared Pack, but the proximity of the releases could cause some unintended traffic jams.Part Two of the Air Jordan VI (6) Varsity Pack  will officially drop tomorrow, June 12th. While there really isn’t an actual Varsity Red Pack, these paired with the Black pair from January make for a great replacement if you miss out on the chance to get the Air Jordan VI Infrared Pack that is set to release on the nineteenth.

What we do know is that the White/Varsity Red pair is almost as good as the Infrared pair largely due to the fact that the shades of red are separated by the smallest of degrees.Do you skip out on the Varsity Red and test your luck on the Infrared Pack, or do you make your own Air Jordan VI Varsity Red Pack? Then again, ain’t nothing wrong with picking up two pairs of Bulls-colored Sixes on back-to-back weekends. Nike Trainer 1 Low – LIVESTRONG – Available

The Nike x LIVESTRONG collaborations have been steadily flowing from the Swoosh lately. To follow up the Stages Collection, the latest to receive the LIVESTRONG treatment is the Trainer Dunk Low.LIVESTRONG and Trainers; two things Nike has down packed.  Continuing its strong partnership with Lance’s organization, here’s a new Nike Air Trainer 1.

Contrary to most LIVESTRONG pairs that don a predominantly black upper, these give way to more white in the aesthetics.The LIVESTRONG x Nike Trainer Dunk Low is now available at Finish Line for about $90. The Trainer Dunk silhouette is a mix of the Trainer 1, and the Nike Dunk.

The colorway features the traditional yellow of the LIVESTRONG Foundation, combined with white, black and grey.Despite a higher contrast with a black look, the yellow Swoosh still stands out, complimented by the traditional LIVESTRONG tag on the tongue.

Nike Air Trainer SC 2010 – Black – Metallic Silver – Available

The cross-training shoe is a throwback that Nike is definitely leaning on this year. The Nike Trainer 1 debuted last year and the Low version followed in 2010.Nike’s Trainer 1.2 Mid is one of the years stand out models. It appears to be not only technically a cut above the rest but its also a well designed take on a much loved classic. With colorways like this Black/Metallic Silver they are only set to solidfy their appeal.

The Nike Lunar Kayoss has been popping up with new colourways. Rounding out the trio of training shoes Nike Sportswear had prepped for 2010 is the Nike Air Trainer SC 2010, which could be considered the revamped Bo Jacksons. The Oakland Raiders colourway of the 2010 Air Trainer SC is now available on Finishline.The shoes black upper is done in leather and with flywire paneling as usual but the lively trainer gets its kick via the metallic silver detailing. From the midfoot strap to the midsole these are chock full of shimmery goodness that you just cant deny.

Nike Dunk Mid SB – Black – Sail – Varsity Red

Like any acquired taste, it takes some time for something to grow on you. The Nike Dunk SB Mid wasn’t exactly loved by all when it first dropped, but now its considered a staple of the Nike SB line-up.We just finished previewing the Nike SB Dunk High – Medium Grey / Varsity Red – Blue and the Nike SB Dunk Low – Red / Blue – White.

Here we complete the trilogy with a pair of Nike SB Dunk Mids, which are slated to release as part of Nike SB’s Spring 2010 line-up. The shoes sport an array of colors along the uppers, including black, sail, and varsity red.With the ankle strap expected to be removed from the future models, here’s a look at an upcoming Black/Sail/Varsity Red colourway of the Nike Dunk SB Mid, strap included. The color palette is as eclectic as the materials used, as these Mids employ leather, suede, and nylon.

Nike WMNS Blazer High – ‘Blaze Craze’

The Nike Blazer was limited to basic colorways and collaborations in the earlier part of the decade but experience an exponential growth in popularity once it hit Nike SB.Women love Nike Blazers so much that some of them have been diagnosed with “Blaze Craze”. We know Blaze Craze is new music to your ears, but its quickly spreading throughout the female sneaker community.

With all jokes aside, Nike just released a new Blazer High exclusively for women that features a “Blaze Craze” graphic on the tongue. The letters “BC” is seen on the heel of these Blazers. The Blaze Craze Blazers come in a wolf grey/photo blue/dark grey colorway.Sick releases like the Beautiful Losers x Nike Blazer Mid, Stussy colorways, as well as later drops like the Supreme collabs of 2006 made the Blazer a household shoe. This ‘Blaze Craze’ is called out in this recently released pair of Nike WMNS Blazer  Highs; note the higher cut as well as a Blaze Craze tongue label and logo on the heel. the colorway of grey tones, blue and cactus green match the Blaze Craze logos as well.

Nike ACG Woodside Boot – ‘Gucci’ | Available

The Barkley Retro movement moves on with the Air Max CB 34 that originally released in 1995. Nike Zoom DK – Danny Kass

Shawn White beat him in 2006 in Torino and has long been the sport’s posterboy, but X-Games gold medalist Danny Kass remains the marquee name for Nike Snowboarding.The black/purple/white pair proves simpler than a red/black/white edition that features tonal graphics on its side panels. 

While we see the Paul Rodriguez brand throw the chips on the table into Zumiez stores and Nike 6.0 accounts, Nike Snowboarding  approaching its 2011 season is utilizing a similar grassroots approach that Nike Skateboarding began with. Entering the 2011 season we begin with two new styles: the Danny Kass Pro and Women's Baxa Boot and new colorways in the Zoom Force 1 and Kaiju. Pics courtesy of Martini Snow and Skate. Nike Running – ‘Retuned, Remixed’ | Event Recap

The Village Underground in London was the venue for the Nike Running ‘Retuned, Remixed’ event, in which Nike showcased its Fall/Holiday 2010 running models – LunarGlide+ 2, Zoom Vomero – while debuting the Nike LunarEclipse.Last night marked Nike Running’s “Returned, Remixed” event at the Village Underground in London. Hosted by Run Dem Crew’s Charlie Dark, it showcased Nike Running’s 2010 fall/winter collection alongside other running-related products and showings.

Among the focal points was the showing of the LunarEclipse+ which enjoys a 33% weight reduction thanks to Flywire technology, Lunarlon cushioning and a seamless construction.Boasting a 33% decrease in weight (good looks, Flywire), the upcoming LunarEclipse features Lunarlon cushioning with the Dynamic Support Platform, a three-layer sockliner, and a heel-clip for added stability. Also garnering a spotlight at the event was the UNDERCOVER x Nike ‘Gyakusou’ Collection as well as new digital platforms for Nike running, like the Nike+ GPS iPhone App and Nike GRID: Run Your City.

Other features of the running shoe include a Dynamic Support Platform, floating heel support clip and three-layer sockliner at the midsole. Air Jordan Retro III (3) True Blue | August 2009

The Air Jordan III, regarded as one of many sneaker afficianado’s favorite Jordan of all time will be retroed this year in one of it’s most notorious and heralded colorways, the True Blue colorway. Personally, the Air Jordan III (3) True Blue is my favorite Air Jordan  model, so when I heard that Jordan Brand was planning to re-release them, I was blown away! Just a few days ago it was confirmed that they’ll release in-stores sometime in August 2009, but it’s still a mystery if it’ll be sold within some type of package or individually.

The Air Jordan III (3) True Blue is set to feature the same OG colorway of white, cement grey and true blue with no word of any changes or alterations.We’ve seen a number of different shoes take inspiration from this colorway of the Air Jordan III but perhaps none will ever be the same as the original, after all why would so many Jordan fanatics be asking for this shoe to be retroed year after year.
